CAV Systems Ltd is a leading Israeli software company, established in 1979, engaged in development and deployment of enterprise software (ERP, Banking, and Tourism). Throughout the years, all the core data processing applications were developed by CAV Systems in MUMPS, and deployed over all of the major MUMPS implementations (Today over Cache’ and GT.M, and historically over DSM, DTM, MSM and OpenM). CAV Systems has always strived to use cutting edge, open standards, and in the past 10 years has adopted the Java technology for the complementary software and infrastructure, such as GUI clients, portals, Mumps JSP tag library, and Jumps.

We, at CAV Systems, have recognized the need to migrate our own applications to mainstream technologies four years ago. Since then, we have developed Jumps, and we are using it to automatically migrate our MUMPS applications, without any code rewrite or changes to the original DB structures.
